Author | Tear of Asha or the so-called Grail structure. |
That's an even better idea :)
So, let's say, 0,1+0.1*fs level productivity bonus? So with faction lvl 9, you get one more time base wage.
Would it be balanced? What do you think? |
Lol i liked the way in homm 3.... Much better |
@22
How do you mean the way in homm3?
Like 5000 gold/day? :D Or +50% growth? |
Now in lords we have one special talent, unique for every faction. Tear of Asha could grant us one more special talent. This talents I used from homm 5:
Wizard - Mark of the Wizard
Dark Elf - Elemental Vision (I'm not sure how will this work in lords)
Knight - Benediction
Demon - Mark of the Damned or Consume Corpse
Necromancer - Banshee Howl
Elf - Deadeye Shot
I don't know for barbs, they are different in homm 5 tribes of the east.
I didn't explain their ability, because I'm lazy. Here is the link:

The only problem with this is that it will need a lot of balancing. |
I support your idea, but this really needs balancing.
For example, wizards would deal double damage. In hunts it would be.. deadly.
Maybe the Grail should add the skill to our talent wheel, and also add some talent points. So, one is not forced to use the talent, if he not wishes to do so. (I think eg about Might DE-s , unless Elemental Vision affects physical damage also )
Well, barb could get some sort of 'howl' that increases the damage done by troops. |
If I recall correctly, Elemental Vision gave DE troops some bonus elemental damage, based on who they shot (each unit was assigned an element and shooting a troop with a different element gave a bonus). Both Might and Spell DE would benefit from this, since the elemental damage done is a % of the physical one (same as the enchants on weapons). |
Elemental vision only revealed the element of the enemy, making opposite type of magic stronger, if cast on them.
To increase the damage of troops, hero needed to build a structure 'Altar of Elements' (or sg like this), and this revealed the element of owned creatures :) |
+ i like this idea. |
+ 1 |
Lets keep tradition going so go and find The Grail first !! ^^ |
Elf - Deadeye Shot
I prefer the imbued arrow more =D |
I prefer the imbued arrow more =D
Elfs have only weak nature damaging spells, so imbued arrows wouldn't be useful. And it needs a lot of mana. |
Maybe Imbued arrow could somehow be transponed to lordswm. Somthing like:
- deals 24+8*Faction skill level damage to the target, at the cost of 3 mana.
And hopefully, when war machines will be introduced, elves get Imbue ballista, and triple ballista. :D That could prove deadly to high level creatures. (Eg: 3* (96+base damage) :D with faction level 9) |
Ballista is knight's favourite siege weapon(triple strike-flaming arrow :-O____) |
Flaming arrow (If I remember well) was also available for elves, as an attack talent. They also had some kind of 'Elven fury' that gave +1 maximum damage.
To stay on topic, I call on a vote:
Would you like The Grail to add new talents? If yes, then which do you prefer for each faction? |
