Well, you can know the recruitment in the forehand, and place out strategies to win, efc when it is an somewhat even battle. |

as far as I care, I'm not bothered who ambushes me, I'm going to try and kill them no matter who it is, knowing who it is won't make the slightest difference to me, why would anyone need to know who ambushed them anyway? So they can let them win if it's someone they know? |

MQ quests and Thief caravans are most important. |

2.MG quests(is it possible to know which faction(maybe not exactly but at least the most probable) will ambush you in brigands quests?
3.something that the game developers promised as a future feature - to know how many enemies you will kill(again an interval) - it could be very useful in solo combats. |

Ok just to add since so many asked, although it is slightly off topic.
If you know who amushes u you can look up their recruitment. As someone before pointed out this can make a diffrence in how to place your troops.
You can furthermore even look up his combat log and watch the setup of 1 or 2 battles before you make your own setup.
Of course if he is fully arted and you are not or if you travel with only 1 unit this doesn't matter at all. But for some heroes who are themself hunting thiefs these informations are very usefull. |
