Yes the idea IS good, agreed.
BUT even then players won't bother reading about it~
I mean there are still players (lv 5+ ones) who come to make topics about Seraph tears and updates... |
Grrr.... why can't we take this thread (under Ideas & suggestions, mind you) at face value - That IF an admin is about to do some works on the server, to gave us some advance notice. That's all.

emember when we switched servers they stopped us being able to even initiate combats and card games several hours before the game was scheduled to go down |

this would means that these problems have nothing to do with updates..... what a pity, but anyway, I trust admin are doing a good job and updates won't last a long time to be applied. In the meanwhile an other text quest would be nice, but I now these quests don't built up on their own, and a good amount of work is needed to organize one, so don't understand this as a request or a complain, I just enjoied the first one, thanks |
Of course, it's it's unforeseen and unpredicted, and nothing to do with our dear admins, then obviously no noticed is required, right?

Point in summary: i think the author of this thread merely wished to highlight.
1. if it was an intentional server maintenance, then perhaps notify the players
2. that if it was an random event(meaning admins had no control over), that has become pretty regular.then we perfectly understand .(maybe hoping for some answers)

Agreed. Lets give the admins the benefit of the doubt that it was an unintentional server shutdown; no use crying over spilt milk.
And to those who complain about losing combats because of the shutdown, stop giving yourself excuses for losing. Combat timing paused while the server was down, and resumed once server was up. |
