why is it a bad idea cause everyone can get away with cheating with no one doing and regulating the server |
can the admins add in a translator to translate whatever language the players dont understand? |
This idea was already proposed. There are ways to do it at least partially, to share some events, group battles, market, etc. But it was silenced.
For those who just say: "No, I dont speak russian." Alright, I dont speak russian as well, but there are hundreds of high level .ru players. If there was an option for a "battlezone", group battle between 3 players from .com and 3 players from .ru with separate chats, how many of us would gladly use it? Especially if there was some kind of little reward in that. :-) |
I'd like the potential for rule enforcement, I read enough russian that I'd get along OK, but the flash enroll business would be rather annoying. |
what will you do when your teammates use ru language in GB and you have no idea what he/she is talking about? |

how would you communicate in forum and battle chat and pm? |
lol, thats where the translator comes in |
i believe there is a program you can install where it automatically translates the page (this works for everything BUT stuff that happens in the battle) |
there is still a way to communicate with russian
open google translate page whenever they type copy their word into translate and den u copy back your word and convert back to russian language but this is way more burden haha :D |
errr, can the admins add in a translator to translate any foreign words automatically? |
i like it but dont like it if we can talk to are team mates a better team would form but also a bigger space of hatred could form also |

there are enough russians on this server the way it is.95% dont speak English so that would cause more problems than it fixes. But a whole new world would open up as I play on the russian server also (i cannot understand anything but I know where things are that I can play)The russian server has all kinds of neat stuff we dont have, lots more places to work, more regions to hunt in,ect ect |
95% dont speak English
Oh, really now? Mind backing that statement with clear facts? |
developers treat us like dogs
lol. not that bad. lol
agree :p
Disagree, i feed my dog. We one the other hand get nothing more then scraps.
I think it's a bad idea. The language barrier is far to great. AND on the other hand, .ru would have to agree for our server to be combined and im pretty sure there happy with how there server is being treated atm. |
im pretty sure they're happy with how their server is being treated atm
You don't know how funny that is....
by allowing ru and com to be linked, the economic problems of both sides would just multiply. If you can't get any enrollment vacancy now, having ru people come over to walk about would make things worse, right?
And if battle only, there's not real benefit, right? Besides it being a ego boost thing, what else?
Allowing online Auto-Translators would both slow the servers down, cause potential "horse-radish"-y translations and also open the door to other scripting to occur. |

just make ppl chose wether they want english or russian when they register i think it would be great to have more people, its not like we have much to talk about in duels and cards anyway (at my lvl) |
I didn't read the entire second page except for 37, but that's a good idea.
The tavern and duels can be open to all, since no one talks there, and everything else can be separated into two languages. This way, the admins can join together and only have one update but with translations.

I am not sure it is 95% or 80% or whatever ... but none of the russian players I met in a battle or helped me in hunts spoke a single word of English ... :( ... so, from my experience, 100% don't speak English ... |
Language barriers can be crossed easily with enough patience and will.:-) |
