Potion of Luck
Good idea. Around 500 gold. Could give +1 Luck for one hour, usable once per day. And would not combine with Free Drink at Tavern.
Basically, high-level gamblers would have free potion of luck per day, with greater lasting effect. But at least, low-level players (tavern wise) could at least achieve the same result, for a price (to be compared with the 2'500 gold of an Amulet of Luck). |
This is good. imo with 500 per drink, not all ppl can afford this. Also the tavern should only has limited number of drink per hour. |
with a potion it would be too simple to get +1 luck
there are only few ways to get luck and it's fair with this

-1 its a reward for long hard work plus u can make money off it to |
Card game is along hard work plusboring!!
Who can wait to reach Gambler Lv12?? |
my idea is the possibility for those who achieved 12 GG to sell this *tavern* drink to somebody once in 24 hours(or give for free))and if u sell u can't use it in 24 hours time, like can't change faction) |

may be you want dragons on 6th level? because wait to reach 14 level so boring |
even though the idea seems cool, but i still hold my position against it
i believe, the drinks should be, and only be given to those "heros" who are willing to spent their time gambling for so long (many of them even has more gambles than battle)
like myself, i will never spent the time gambling, so i believe i should get such a reward without any paying any effort
the drinks belongs, and reveals a great gambler (though my not be a great battler XD) a player is, it is a sign of honor XD |

Become a gambler means lack of battle practice! Even with +3 luck bonus from tavern, it wont help them so much. |

then why would you rob their advantage against you battle hero....
just leave it be, luck is a luxury. there's should be limited way to get it, and it should be hard and/or expensive. getting high gambler guild is one of it
Phaddeus' idea is more acceptable IMO |

Get a real beer if you're not willing to invest time to get that far. After all, the game mechanics work this way: if you work for it, you will get it. No lazy players can ever mastermind a game.
Plus, the idea of a marketable luck potion will just deteriorate the rarity of luck. If you really NEED luck, or are somehow obsessed by it, use your talents, or even artifacts. Simple solution, no?

Its always a matter of choice =) |
the tavern drink could be trad-able, then it will put it in right price range. |
-1. I respect the people who have reach Gambler level 12, its a really long way to go and they deserve the reward. And as seen in the last update on RU, they have cut luck from Faction Level 9 and also Mini-Arts, so better be ready to work for +Luck guys. |
look just like everyone it needs to be worked for its a reward for your hard work in the tavern simple so do the work and dont complain and personly Im tired of hearing ppl whine cause they dont have this or that and they dont wanna do the work
BIG FAT NEGATIVE HERE |

the free drink is the reward for those who spend time expertising their card game skills
it's free and limited to expert gamblers
thats why it's special |
I've put in the effort to get the Luck Drink, but it's not all it cracked up to be. You can't use it in any of the Tournaments that I've participated in. And the main incentive I had for getting a high Gamblers Guild level was for the potential advantage in Tournaments. Still, I suppose it's a decent way to pass the time recovering between battles.
Personally, I would value it more if I could use it as an additional source of income. However, I recognise the Luck Drink isn't intended for that. I just wish it did more, because I rarely use it these days.
Have Fun
