#1: There is no bug. It's a specific feature to prevent cheating. You didn't know about it and you were trying to influence the game to have your caravan. Unfortunatelly for you, you entered in that small percentage of catching the hero and not the caravan triggered by the hero (perhaps you tried it for several times until you got caught in the act :) ). There is a rule also for what you were doing, but I am not going to speak about rules here.

When Omega22 and Skuwak pointed out that what you did was an infringement of the game rules, even if it was through ignorance, how did you react?
When Korzika said "although i have no proof of what i am saying, i happen to know that Magistrus is a great player that never cheated.", how did you react?

I admit we(me and Skuwak) could have been more polite and less offensive pointing the rule problem here, but also Magistrus could have been more open to criticism. But this should be discussed in pm between me and Magistrus(I also invite him to pm me if he needs any more explanations or apologies)
So this system really seems to me like something new to prevent abuse of multis and Magistrus was just the first to notice. |

To prevent ambushing your multi just cancel the ambush while your multi is moving on this path
just dont travel to your own ambushes, problem solved
these comments are enough, i think. if you're not a cheater, there's your solution for this problem. if you are, you will get blocked eventually.
its not something new at all
i played some group combats with my colleague from our office after work (so, same IP), and we didn't have these problems. we played 2 duels as well.
so, does this happen only if 2 players from same IP fight one against other in any combat except for duel (which is really pointless, so i guess not), or only in ambushes or what? and how about players that share IP in i-net caffe or in university? what if they ambush one another? |

It's the assigned IP for your computer which is checked, not the IP given by your provider. As long as you don't play from the same PC, you don't have any problem. And that I know it since a long time because me and my girlfriend play from the same local network (we have here only one ADSL connection provided). Once I had problems with my network card and I tried from the same PC (different browsers) and I got that message. Otherwise, we had no problem. |

Magistrus. your question was, do you think it was a bug. and it has been answered, no it is not a bug, it is to stop cheaters. now that your question has been answered everyone has moved onto the topic of you being a cheater.
your question was answered and now the topic has switch, if you dont like where it is going then lock the thread.
and i know "no stupid comments plz" or in other words "dont make comments i disagree with plz" both seem to mean the same thing to you. |
