Well, I joined this site AFTER Arctic left, and I have not read anything he said, including that interview with Kotrin.
Perhaps you should start there, it could help.
Of course, I'm saying all this for the simple fact that he is STILL an admin on this site. To be an admin on one site, and give some 'lame' excuse about real life commitments, but ends up playing on ANOTHER site non-stop every day, well, it's just... ain't right.
Arctic resigned from his *administrator position* on .com, because of real life obligations. He is not barred from all Internet access.
I can understand that he still plays the game, but has no time to manage a character on both servers. And he just chose .ru for whatever reason - perhaps "it is better", as many of you constantly complain, but could also be because he knows more people over here, or enjoys his character more. Who knows? There are plenty of option when you are fluent both in English and Russian.

the game befor artic left was amasing
everything was normal none waried about stuff
it was very active game and it was all the most important fair
now everything has been destroyed
so many great players have been leaving the game
they blocked my friends acc for nothing because if they were shure they would put e reason and other names that have been breaking rules
but they did not the y just blocked it with no reason they were not shure
so wats the point of playing when the game is ruined

There is no sinking ship. An idle ship, at worst.
By the way, on a second thought, I now perfectly understand why Arctic left .com server: he simply had no other choice.
He was Arctic. He would have been contacted by every other player, asked for tournament, etc. He would have been stuck with his reputation, his knowledge of the game, and so on. He would have continued to be an administrator, like it or not!
After resigning from his position, he would NEVER have been able to enjoy the game like any other player. |

My apologies if he has resigned from his admin position here, but this is the first time I have heard/read that. All other posts where Arctic was mentioned, all I read from everyone was that he's taking a 'long vacation/break' from here coz of his RL commitments.
Anyway, like I said in my earlier post - I wish him all the best, for whatever reason(s) he chose to play there. :) |

I read on another thread that the changing of character for 500 euros is not available here. So how can whoever-runs-this-site expects players to buy this service if it's not available? |

BUT, if he has indeed said the reason he left here is coz of real life commitments, BUT he been playing there for HOURS upon HOURS for the past week (I only looked at the first page of his combat log), and probably since he left here, then basically he is... not being truthful. There is a word for people who didn't tell the truth.
I mean, if u wanna go play in .ru for whatever reason, I, for one, would wish you all the best. But to give a 'reason' for leaving/taking a break here coz of real life commitments, and then plays at another site everyday for hours upon hours... just don't seem right.
Game is game. It is not the work. It's quite ordinary if the administration work interfere with the real life whereas playing game doesn't. |

In the interveiw arctics tell he would come back if the Admins need him? and he also says that he was the one translating the game from russian to english?? soo what does that mean?? dont the have anything to translate? i know the russian have lots more than we do.. but then there should be alot to translate.. who is going to do that now?? or isent anyone going to do anything?? |

Korzika, If your Russian is so fluent and your translation correct, it could be his son perhaps just playing the game, hunting hydras...I have just made up that explanation, but it is the most simple one that came into my mind.(always try to use most simple explanation and everything fits in, Arctic as a fair, honest player, with real life problems letting his non-English speaking relative play the russian game)

Arctic left because he is a backstabber
There was lots of talk if arctic was right for assistant admin and there was a lot of talk on this topic.
Arctic was loved and he is hated now and will be forever hated.
He left because we are being neglected. This server is dead THATS the reason I left.
If I could read Russian I would leave to.
