AuthorHunt has changed?
According to the formula if main hunter kills half the creatures the increase is 14%. That's VERY far from 30% considering the exponential increase.

true that, but the hunter guild point obtained for shared hunts is also less.
HG point for assited hunts = fsp * 2

so for getting 1 HG point you need 2 hunts (assuming equal kills)

so the final number becomes (with 100 initial number)
100 * 1.14 * 1.14 = 129.96 ~ 130 which is basically the same

ofc i agree that assists are fun and much easier to handle.
I too have a problem with the percentage of increase in numbers when you have a successful hunt against a given creature. 30% increase is just ridiculous! I understand that the game should be challenging but a 30 increase is too much. Who came up with this arbitrary figure?

There are still people are complaining that the hunts are to easy...

According to the formula if main hunter kills half the creatures the increase is 14%. That's VERY far from 30% considering the exponential increase. And cooperative hunts have huge benefit compared to solo stuff because you can work as a team and focus your damage when needed to certain stacks.

2 times hunt assistant will give you 1,14*1,14 = 1,2996. That is roughly 30% increase. So two assist will give you the same as one solo hunt.
*bump*

What's the use of trying to Level Up your Character if you're not gonna continue on with the game. I am looking forward to gaining a high-level Hero but am very concerned that when I get to that point, the hunts will become impossible, even with assistance.

So when will these new creatures become available? It would be wonderful to see them arrive on the scene. :-)

I have a question: I have been an Elf from the start, if I change my faction, will the number of creatures in the hunts for my new character still be at the same level as my Elf Hero? Or will they be reset for my new faction?
LOL! You won't like my reply... ^_^
for Zephyranna:

Ok lets start with...your level 7 !!!! You are miles away from level 14 as are ALL of us. No hunts are impossible yet. I have hunts of 15000 bowmen coming up and me and kiskoko will min ap them because you learn tactics. I highly doubt that within this next year of this server anything will become impossible.

next...If you change faction all your hunts stay the same.

Next...New creatures will become availble when the admins make them availble. Complaining about this and that and making mroe pointless topics and threads about ti wont get it done any fast. Yeah we are all waiting for them, i have diamonds ready for my hydras but you have to be patient.
@ MasterTI (quote)next...If you change faction all your hunts stay the same.

So at the moment I have, let's say, a Hunt of 450 Zombies. I definitely need assistance to defeat all these Zombies. If I change factions, I will start out as a Level 1 Hero. Will my Zombie Hunt total still be at 450? This seems unfair.

Or am I mistaken? If I change factions, will I be at the same level as my previous faction?

Changing factions has no effect on hunt monster amounts. You may see a change in difficulty color, but that's it.
But what about my Hero's Level? When I change factions, do I start the new faction as Combat Level 1?
When you change faction you stay at the same combat level.
Also keep in mind, certain kinds of hunts are easier to do with different factions...

But yeah, most of my hunts (a good 90% of them) are impossible to do solo--even with full arts.

I think it will take a much longer time for even a pair of heroes not to be able to defeat 90% of the hunts available anyway.

Cheers,
LS
#28 when you change faction, you do keep your combat leve (7, in your case), but you only have lvl 1 units available. in order to get all the other ones, you need to build everything from scratch in your castle. This means that, before you change, you will be better make some savings :)

Also, keep in mind that if combat level stay the same, faction level will begin from 0: some faction will be just impossible to play (wizard, for instance, will have impossible hunts with faction level 0), while other will play just as well (like DE, that will only miss the piercing magic bonus - having shrews is enough to live with :D )

Finally, if you have enough of your new faction and wish to go back to the previous, know that all your old buildings will remain unchanged (no need to rebuild your elf tree, that is)
Thanks all for you helpful replies. That takes a lot of worry out of my big plan to change factions some day. :-)
This topic is long since last update and considered obsolete for further discussions.
