in your case, maybe you're right, its better not to join any hunting assistance no more as i believe that the idea of automatic gold sharing wont be implemented (well said in post #6).
meanwhile, i'd like to suggest you to find 2-3 fixed hunting partners, get a deal that all gold from hunt will be divided at the same amount between you. maybe things will get better then. |

@ DarwenAward - Blah, blah, blah! Is that all you can offer as a reply, to 'stop complaining'? No brains or creativity there. :P Just a generic answer to my suggestion, which would make assisting hunts much more equatable & fair! If you can't think of anything constructive to offer, please don't waste space and our time with your non-helpful response.
I already said I wouldn't be assisting anymore until this discrepancy is fixed - and even wearing minimum artifacts for minimum AP's still decreases the durability of those artifacts. So what's your point? |
| My few words contained about 3 separate instructions. Did you miss them? Your waffle contains many words but a general "do this or I'm not playing" attitude which is wrong. |
What 3 separate instruction Darwen? All you did was repeat everything I already said and didn't offer anything new.
You didn't offer any solution to Hunt Assistants receiving their share of the gold.
You didn't offer any solution to the depreciation of the durability of artifacts used in Hunt Assists. (At Level 5, players HAVE to wear artifacts to engage in any battles.)
And your only response to the unfair & unbalanced rewards for Hunt Assistants was to 'stop complaining'.
Like I said before, if you don't have anything of value to offer, please don't waste space or our time with unhelpful replies! |

Game Developers, please implement a fair & equitable reward for players who assist in Hunts. One half of a point in the Hunter's Guild doesn't give much of an incentive to assist other players in Hunts.
Please, please at least make it so assistants can receive their fair share of the Gold according to how much or how little they helped in the victory.

here at least 300 hunting assistance, never asked gold to share.
doing assistance is good for helper as well, only if there is no afk. |
the chance to loot hunter sets is good enuf for helper.
if u use only min ap to help, ur gain is at least 2-3 times the cost.
When I have free time, I must act quickly to join an assistance game.
If you don't like to help for free, ok, then don't go help, leave the chance to those who likes. |
my only suggestion to the hunting assistance system:
Cut the waiting time half, so if I meet an afker, I need only 7 min for him/her kicked out. |
ok, i'm waiting for my thieving, so I would clarify a little bit more.
for low lvl, the hunting is the best xp/skp ratio battles.
so after I reached hg lvl 2, assistance is the main way for me to lvl up.
for 1-4 lvl, huge gain to assistance, no doubt.
lvl 5, min ap $40, average 16 times for an art 500-2000 (640:1750~=1:3)
lvl 6, min ap $60, average 16 times for an art 500-2000 (960:1750~=1:2)
lvl 7 above, min ap $80-150, average 12-15 times for an art 500-2000 and
a small chance for an art 25000 (~1500:1750 ~=1:1, but with a lottery to get 25000 with good luck!)
I haven't count the xp, skp and hg pts u will get. It will be very hard to gain hg pts at high lvl.

I checked your combat log to see how many times you've assisted someone. First, you only helped someone 3 times at your level.
Secondly, you only asked for money once. Are you really going to base the whole LWM community based on one person who didn't give you half of the share?
There will always be people who won't share. Trust me, some people assist for the heck of it, and other people can't afford to pay half anyways (using full arts, etc.). And ok, you listed the solution yourself. You will stop assisting. Problem solved. I, like other people, doubt that the people who made this game will change the rule to make sharing mandatory. And many people assist anyways, even without payment. |
@ Anyone: Yes, I stopped assisting as often at Level 5 as I did at lower levels; obviously because I had to have at least a 5 AP to participate. For my lower level assists, I never bothered to ask for a share because I thought it was just proper etiquette to share the gold, but I was wrong.
I shared the gold in most (not all) of the Hunts in which I got assistance. But not even one person ever shared with me when I assisted. Now at Level 6, I find that it's not economically feasible to do assists. It's too bad because I did enjoy assisting others in their Hunts. :-( |
It's the players choice to share or not.
It doens't stand in the rules of the game that you need to share, but you can see if a player shares with a look in his/her transfer log. |
