AuthorHunting at higher level
Full arts at Yellow and up .. try to wear ONLY some arts in green and OFC no arts (if possible) or min AP in piece of cake ! ^^
for sven91:
where'd you get that formula?
and ask for assist can be a better option depends on your faction and the monsters. for example you're a DE going to hunt golems. 2000 golems at level 9 is yellow hunt. but this can only be done mostly by DE. if your assistance is an elf, for example, your assistance can't deal more damage than you do, so your FSP is not exactly 0.25 but higher, so you HG are not 0.5 but more. But nowadays not many people who want to help hunt than it used to be
Since there is no difference in the long run in terms of hunter and fsp, whether you ask for assistance or not, asking for assistance is a slower but surer way of earning it. Slower because you have to wait for someone to join you, because you have to fight more battles to earn the same hunter and fsp than if you were to solo. But then again, it might be faster since you don't have to pass by hunts, and since you won't have to wait as long for your troops to regen.

As long as you weigh and find that (chance of finding hunter artifact + loot from hunt + possible chance to earn hp and fsp) > (cost of your arts + time spent), then the hunt is probably worth to do, even if you ask for assistance, or even if you wear more arts.
for iron_eagle:
that formula has been going around in forums for sometime already, though perhaps in slightly obscure places.

An example of it is here, post by Arctic.

So there is no difference at all between solo and asking for assistance regarding the HG and FSP

So there is no reasy why someone should do a hard hunt by himself, only that he the one that assist will lost one points on the arts.

No reason to do a hard hunt by himself? Well as I mentioned earlier, soloing a hunt allows you to earn exp, hg and fsp faster than if you were to ask for assistance. But of course this comes with higher cost and risk, since you have to wear arts and might still end up losing.
Another reason to solo is for 'personal gratification'; you feel proud of your achievement and earn boasting rights if you get on the top hunter's list. =)

The person providing assistance gets 0.1 hunter point and usually at least 0.2 fsp. That itself is should already sufficient reward for most people.
