Authornecromancer faction to strong
for lukeman56789:

Well, at lv 6,
wait for the enemy to get into range for bowman.
(in range or w/out is a very BIG difference!!!!)
even in a pvp w elf cos his bow'll start 1st.
so?
we can revive, they can't.
juz relax and enjoy lv 6 necro.and nv rush yr vamp and ghst.
necro is gd for defend not attk.
thanks i will try my best i just want to get 2 lvl 7 been lvl 6 2 long
i don't really think aRU is wrong, but not really sure, maybe mods can confirm this.
incorporeal:
Physical attacks against this creature are only 50% likely to be successful. However, there is no way that three consecutive hits or three consecutive misses take place on every particular stack. After two consecutive hits a compulsory miss will occur, and vice versa. Incorporeal does not concern magical attacks against this creature. Any magic applied to this creature also resets the consecutive hits & misses counter to 0.
hit-miss-miss + miss-hit-hit
the first miss is to reset the counter to 0, so hit-miss. Then next attack, you can miss again right? Then the hit-miss counter counts as 1 miss, 0 hits. then the 3rd miss makes the counter as 2 misses, 0 hit, then the next attack makes the counter resets again to 0, because its now 2 miss 1 hit. can understand what i mean? Please confirm which is right.
There even a possibility that you do 5 consecutive hits.
Any magic applied to this creature also resets the consecutive hits & misses counter to 0.
hit-hit-magic(not magic punch)-hit-hit. you have, for example druids then you can use lightning then hit-hit-lighning-hit-hit-lightning etc etc, but this is quite impossible
hit-hit-lighning-hit-hit-lightning etc etc, but this is quite impossible

It is very possible. I've done it many a time with correct timing. Of course there's a chance it wont work... but still, very possible.

To make it less confusing take the counter out of the situation entirely. You will have a 50% chance of hitting almost always. If you ever see two misses in a row then the next will be a hit. If you ever see two hits in a row, than the next will be a miss. If magic is applied, ignore whatever hits or misses were on the ghosts before.
you seem to have a good luck ipslne, can keep hitting and no miss. no wonder that you're an elf ;)
ok, back to physical damage, ignore all magic. if we ignore the counter, so it will be hit-miss-miss-hit-miss-miss-hit-hit-miss like that?
Until today, i still think that if hit-miss-miss then the next is still 50% hit, because the first miss "neutralize" the first hit, and so such cases like hit-miss and miss-miss-hit are two different hit-miss case
thats impossible, read the FAQ question 38

If you can show me a battle where you "miss" 3 times after each other the same stack of ghosts without magic or anything else between it, i give you 50 000 gold

lol.... it doesnt excist! max misses = 2
Nope it is definitly not so, you dont compare the number of hit and miss and substract them from another it is just as said above leaving magic at the side if ever you make 2 consecutive hits or miss the next attack will be the opposite.

And as far as I have witnessed only elemental dmg spell reset the counter, magic punch is just an ordinary physical attack and revive, or curse/bless have no effect on the hit miss mechanism.
hit-miss-miss-hit-miss-miss-hit-hit-miss

correct.

hit-miss-miss then the next is still 50% hit

incorrect.
And as far as I have witnessed only elemental dmg spell reset the counter, magic punch is just an ordinary physical attack and revive, or curse/bless have no effect on the hit miss mechanism.

Revive is considered elemental, and will reset the counter. All nature magic other than MP is considered air magic for the purpose of elements. Holy and darkness magic are not considered elemental.
for ipslne:
Revive is considered elemental, and will reset the counter.
It will not. This question was already discussed at .ru.
No matter you raise a fully dead stack or not dead yet, the counter will NOT reset.
I can confirm this by my private experience playing necro for year and a half.

For example in hunts:
hit+killed - raise - again hit+killed - raise - I ALWAYS had a miss here.
euh close but no

if the stack is killed completely before u raise the "hit-miss-counter is reset"
but if u have 1 or two alive (kinda hard being undead but whatever) and u raise em back to full then the counter wont reset

so hit - raise - hit - raise
then the next attack on the ghosts will be a miss (unless its magical ofcourse)
should stress attack, non dmg spells do not influnce the counter
If you think necro is strong , try to play necro.

to my experience, both fraction have its advantage and disadvantage.
for Snjits:
if the stack is killed completely before u raise the "hit-miss-counter is reset"
Then show me combat log where I can see situation:
1) hit - hit+killed - raise - _hit_
2) hit+killed - raise - hit+killed - raise - _hit_

In my "theory" it is impossible. If you or anyone else will show me combat log with situations mentioned above then I will change my opinion. Without log your words are just nothing :)

for Chenlong:
If you think necro is strong , try to play necro.
I think that necro is strong and I play necro for a year and a half on .ru ;)
Hmm, I could be wrong then Maxter. I remember witnessing a stack of ghosts getting killed repeatedly (more than two times) immediately after being raised. However without a combat log to show that means little. I'm very aware that my memory is bad ;) So for now I'll take your word for it until I see otherwise, considering you do have the experience over me ^^;

I will take a look trough my necros combat log later and see if I can link u up with one
for ipslne:
I remember witnessing a stack of ghosts getting killed repeatedly (more than two times) immediately after being raised.
There could be many reasons for this:
magic arrow
druid lightning
earthen spikes

They could deal a little damage (so that you didn't recall them) but the miss/hit counter was reset.
I've not so much experience as Maxter but I also never wittnesed a reset of hit/miss - counter by raise dead spell neither with raising of yet existing nor with killed stack. And after a previous discussion here on the board (long time ago) I watched for this many times, cause there too, no link to a battle could be brought up.
Maybe try to use some tricky ways like waiting first or try to use Magic arrow to kill ghosts .. the Magic arrow is the best way to kill ghosts .. WILL NEVER MISS .. try it ..

Best regards,

Randhy
for Maxter:
I agree with you, necro are strong , them are not so weak as the heroes games.I have played necro for several months, and I changed to other fractions to have a try^^
so weak as the heroes games

---- I mean only the status of the units( att, def, damage,hp, etc.), not the whole fraction:)
