just take the attack and deduct the enchanment do the same with the defense and then deduct them from each other to calculate defense or attack bonusses
so the stronger the oponent is the better your enchantment works |

A longbow, if enchanted, will the extra damage applied to any type of attack (including melee attack) or only applied to ranged attack? |

1. Example, x% extra air damage will increase druid lightning damage?
2. Example, x% extra y element damage will increase hero y spell damage? |
Enchantnents on _weapons_ increase dmg deal by troops by direct attack (melee and ranged)
Enchantments on _jewelry_ (rings, amulets and strangely enough, cloaks) increase spell damage for both hero and spell-casting troops. |
