Well, the attack-value then? That determines the damage made by the hero. So if we add racial-skill value to the attack of the hero, the formula there becomes flawed.
Jafia, well, showing both would work... It would just take up alot of space and clutter the characterpage. (IMO ofc) | Well, the attack-value then? That determines the damage made by the hero. So if we add racial-skill value to the attack of the hero, the formula there becomes flawed.
Aha, I see where you are comming from with that now.
Well, for attack and defense, seems they are the only 2 stats that can affect either both or only (hero or troops), maybe they are the only 2 that need 2 entries on the character page, 1 for hero and 1 for Troops.
Just my thoughts, and still, not too difficult to code. | Mmmm, it wouldn't be too difficult to code one space where you have "your hero's values" and one where you have "your bonus to troops". (Would character-page be cluttered, and would more questions arise from having both shown there?)
On the other hand, I find it quite simple to click on the recruit-page and view the values of the troops. (What they will have in combat.)
Also, if character-page showed all fraction skill-points, I think more people would ask "What happened to my parameters?! I just changed race and lost 2 attack and..."
Anyway, I understand your query. Personally I like it as it is, but tastes are different. ;) | Yes, I can see where it could cause confusion.
I just wondered why it wasn't coded from the start. |
